The founding of a new state at the turn of the nineteenth century, when new beginnings were often only for brave settlers in "Injun Country" Where disagreements were settled over a fight, women were winsome and men were men, and Curley and Laurey fall in love.

Bring in Ado Annie, torn between sweet-heart Will Parker and exotic Ali Hakim, kindly Aunt Eller and the menacing Jud Fry whose actions play a key part in whether our two lovers find happiness.
